Can someone grab the hot water bottle!

Geelong weather leaves a lot to be desired... There is no 'Beautiful one day; Perfect the next' here.  It was absolutely sweltering the day before, hot enough to cook eggs on your car. Last night, I had a hot water bottle in bed with me it was so cold. wtf is with that??

So last night (all toasty warm due to my hot water bottle) I had my first dream since my brain thingo 3 years previously.  I dreamed again!  My brain is really repairing! It is funny how bad I was when it happened. I went from a senior project manager at Victoria's largest health service to a simpleton over night.  Wow...  I've tried everything to fix it; hyperbaric chamber through to just writing it down! So dreaming again signifies somewhat of a leap into the old 'me'.

And the dream; my first one was always going to be fantastic right? Full of great places, interesting people!  Or maybe vampires... But not bad ones; Twilight ones! And me there in the center of it, dressed in a flowing gown!

Well you would be wrong...

I dreamed of a muffin cooking; I was just getting it from a toaster to butter it.

But my first dream!!!!  I can't believe I've got it back!

Can someone turn on the air conditioner...

It is damned hot.  Hot enough to cook eggs on the damned floor...

I can't sleep; I don't know how much this is getting used to someone else tossing and turning or the heat!  I guess he has to get used to it too but it doesn't seem too hard for him, he doesn't sleep anyhow!  How does someone who is suffering brain damage and sleeps for 10 hours of drop dead heavy sleep, exist with someone who sleeps 4-6 hours of light sleep..?

I guess we have to try it on, work around the issues lol, and hopefully come out the other side.  I can't remember if I had this with Quigley or not.  I did with the PI; the dick used to snore so loud it was like sleeping on a speedway!

Last night, aside from the heat, I slept like a baby!  I stayed on my own! lol  So I guess the answer is to ease into it!

Seems like yesterday I was saying "Oh why is it so damned cold!!!"

A New Year... A New Life

Well...  This is a new year (sorry for not blogging lately!)

It is all going to be different this year.  I'm going to get a great job.  I've met a guy (it's still relatively early on in the piece but I think I've seen him every day bar one over the last 2.something weeks!  I'm going to blog...

Ok...  He is really tall; about 6.3.  He is really thin (they say opposites attract!)  He loves music; in fact rarely watches television which I guess is curbing my intake of television!  In a word, he is nice... great... fantastic!  I haven't even really done that thing that I do; where I love/hate them with equal measure and passion from one minute to the next... I've climbed down from that sea saw... Thank God.

He fits me.  I fit him.  We get each other.   Well except for a moment last night...
So I said from here on in, it's think it/say it!
Hopefully it just keeps on going!

We bought a google home the other day (one each) and it's great!  My brother and is wife came for dinner Tuesday night and the whole night were yelling 'Hey Google..."   We played everything from Rap to the Bagpipes!  We asked what the weather is doing and long does it take to get to Broome!

'We' are cooking dinner tonight for 3 guests so doing a pork belly and a lemon tart.  Tomorrow we are going to St Leonard's yacht club for a band....  so I'd better get off here and supermarket it!
